The ceremony started with a minute of silence in memory our friend, teammate and brother Denis Krustev, whom we tragically lost this year at 18 of February, due to medical negligence.

Athlete Of The Year is an award I give, by my own estimation, to a person, contributed most for the team during the year. Usually this is the athlete with most competitions won, the votes in the teams poll weight a lot the decision as well. Older members of the team know, I do not believe in democracy and often I take decision I consider right, despite peoples opinion. This year we was lucky the team to be very active and the choice between successful athletes to be very broad. Fight Club Bully Team Athlete Of The Year 2023 is someone who came in the team already trained somewhere else. However the persistence in his work and dedication to the sport, brought him to the results he achieved this year. Last but not least is the loyalty to the team that he has demonstrated and continues to demonstrate all this time, from the moment he became part of this team.
