On 25.02.2023 was held BULMMAF National MMA Championship Sofia Bulgaria. Massive competition that started at 8 AM and ended midnight. We participated with six athletes:
Kamen Dinkov – Youth A (16-17) – 61.200 kg
Denis Krustev – Senior Men – 61.200 kg
Marek Georgiev – medalist – Juniors (18-20) – 70.300 kg
Stoyan Andonov – vicechampion – Senior Men – 61.200 kg
Emil Enchev – vicechampion – Youth B (14-15) – 52.000 kg
Kristian Tzenev – vicechampion – Youth A (16-17) – 83.900 kg
Youth A (16-17) – 61.200 kg
Great performance from Kamen being on 5 months of training only. He fought more experienced fighter. Kamen is the only Yellow Grade received for less than 6 months but he proved I was not wrong and fought decently. He completed his task for this competition: gained competition experience and proved worthy for his place among the team.

Senior Men – 61.200 kg
Denis fought good, better than the last time, he will have to work a bit on his conditioning and grappling more seriously.
Denis Krustev (Bully Team) blue VS Mihail Grigorov (Pride) – RNC
Juniors (18-20) – 70.300 kg
Marek got a silly injury into a fight he was winning. Big upset for the team, we hope on speedy recovery and his return to the cage.
Marek Georgiev (FC Bully Team) red VS Antonio Iliev (Skorpion) – Doctors Stoppage
With this performance Marek remained medalist in his division.
Senior Men – 61.200 kg
Stoyan same as Marek was stopped by injury to perform on his final. He found his style. And we expect him soon back on training as well.

Youth B (14-15) – 52.000 kg
Traditional strong performance from Emil.
Emil Enchev (Bully Team) red VS Yusein Sebahtin (MMA Spartak) – RNC
Champion game on the semifinal…
Semifinal:
Emil Enchev (Bully Team) red VS Rumen Mitev (Beroe) – Decision
… caused him to be tired on the final and the referee should have took you up.
Final:
Emil Enchev (Bully Team) blue VS Esad Bozali (Scorpion) – Decision
Youth A (16-17) – 83.900 kg
Kristian was the star of this championship.
Kristian Tzenev (Bully Team) red VS Ivo Yordanov (MMA Dzhambazov) – armbar
Strong game in standing, wrestling and ground, last but not least he showed great will for victory.
Semifinal:
Kristian Tzenev (Bully Team) red VS Kristiyan Georgiev (MMA Haskovo) – extra round
He fought strong and technically. He competed for first time ever in his life and reached the final.
Final:
Kristian Tzenev (Bully Team) blue VS Martin Dinev (Arhangel) – decision
Kristian for those 16 hours of this competition grow in front of the eyes of the team, his family and friends. He made a serious request for future big champion.
