On 11.01.2020 in the great facility of Gamebred Academy in Eagle Farm Queensland was held Australian National Team Trials for upcoming 06-08.03.2020 IMMAF Oceania Open on the Gold Coast.
Coach Sev together with Coach Jason Lonergan from Gamebred was working to select the talents to represent Australia on the biggest amateur MMA competition in Australia up to now. They were also supported by national team member and champion Loni Doyle Filimoehala.

There was a lot of talent on the mat and the cage during the technical drills and the sparring matches. We are waiting for the official announcement of the Australian National team since the results are processed at the moment. We are excited to see several national team members from Queensland.
From our team we participated in these trials only with our youth athlete Liam Benton. He showed good skills at the drills and made a good sparring round with Michael Kennedy from Gamebred.
